Cooking with Esme

Esme has a very independent spirit and with that comes a desire the "help" anyone who is doing just about anything.  The other night we were having a yummy chili dinner and we needed some cornbread.  Esme of course jumped at the chance to help her Nana.

Bedtime for Esme

For anyone who has kids you know that they are often times at their cutest right before you put them to bed.  Esme is no exception.  She has always been a great sleeper and she generally doesn't have any trouble going to bed.  Now our new tradition is to give everyone in the house a hug and kiss before she will go.  So if you ever want a nice Esme hug/kiss, swing by around 7:40 PM.

Each night when I put her to bed I always think to myself, "those are the cutest pj's...why can't you wear them all day long?" I guess she could but I might have CPS called if I did it too many times.  So the next best thing was to share a few of my favorites with you.

And please excuse the hobo hair...we got it remedied...sort of... half-way through the making of this post.

Esme Loves to Run...and Dance

Esme is full of energy and she is finding new ways to show it.  She loves to run around the house and she loves to have me chase her.  She is also into spontaneous dancing...pretty cute!

Recently we had dinner at a dear friend of ours.  They have this very cute little bird and our little Esme was one fearless little girl.  Check it out.
