My wonderful niece got married last week so we got Esme a fun little dress just for the occasion.  She refers to it as her princess dress.

Easter 2012

This easter we were very lucky because Esme got to spend it with her best pal Jane.  Jane and her family were in town for her sisters' wedding, pictures to come of Esme at the wedding. So Esme and Jane got fun easter baskets and had a very fun little easter egg hunt in the front yard.  Esme also set a record for most peeps eaten before 11 am church!

Recently Esme was up at her Aunt Lara's and got a mini-makeover.  In the on going battle to control Esme's hair the score is: Esme's hair - A Lot   Everyone Else - 1

Cooking with Esme

Esme has a very independent spirit and with that comes a desire the "help" anyone who is doing just about anything.  The other night we were having a yummy chili dinner and we needed some cornbread.  Esme of course jumped at the chance to help her Nana.

Bedtime for Esme

For anyone who has kids you know that they are often times at their cutest right before you put them to bed.  Esme is no exception.  She has always been a great sleeper and she generally doesn't have any trouble going to bed.  Now our new tradition is to give everyone in the house a hug and kiss before she will go.  So if you ever want a nice Esme hug/kiss, swing by around 7:40 PM.

Each night when I put her to bed I always think to myself, "those are the cutest pj's...why can't you wear them all day long?" I guess she could but I might have CPS called if I did it too many times.  So the next best thing was to share a few of my favorites with you.

And please excuse the hobo hair...we got it remedied...sort of... half-way through the making of this post.
