A little sun and pool-time in warm Scottsdale

I apologize for not posting anything last week.  I received several messages wondering what the deal was.  Well, Esme and I decided that we needed to get out of the rain for a few days and enjoyed the sun in Scottsdale, AZ.  We were lucky enough to have the Ivory Family and the Krivanec Family there with us.  We also had the added bonus of spending some quality time with the O'Leary Family.  We had a wonderful time and we both already miss those sunny days!

Esme showing off her cool sunglasses...she finally had a reason to wear them

My sister Chris and her girls were kind enough to get Esme some "summer" clothes.  Since we only see the sun 3 times a year in Seattle we were a little short on cabana wear.
Esme loved to be outside, she never wanted to come in...I think it has something to do with not having to wear snow pants in April.
And least you think it was all fun and games...Esme is definitely becoming a toddler and making sure that her opinion is known...often times very loudly.

Esme and her cousin Olive working off some after dinner calories. The restaurant is very upscale so it wouldn't be in good taste to mention it by name.

  2. I am right there with Esme on the whole outside thing. My sister and I went to California (once I got out of Seattle and the Alaska Airlines mess) and we had 6 sunny days. Awesome! Esme was just craving her vitamin D ;)
