A little haircut...

So as I continue to figure out how to care for a 1 1/2 year old one of the things I have mentioned in this blog before is Esme's totally awesome/out of control hair.  The past few weeks I had been noticing that it has been looking a little shaggy so I decided it was time for a "real" haircut.  Paige and I went to the same stylist for many years and she graciously offered to give Esme and little trim whenever she needed it.  So we packed up the car and headed in for a trim.  Esme slept most of the way in, the salon is in Seattle, so in this first picture she looks a little groggy.  The haircut experiment was short but at least we got the back of her hair trimmed before she decided that she was through.

Getting all ready for the haircut

Jennifer had to move quick because every time she cut Esme's hair, Esme would look around to see what she was doing to her.
Of course the next morning her hair was back to it's usual awesome self
(note the awesome christmas pj's)

  1. what a good girl!!! she is sitting so good!!! i think it is wise to get her hair done after a nap, thats when they dont have any comprehension of whats really going on... from experience with charlee, if i want to do her hair it works best first thing in the morning or right after naps!!! other than that its a fight to the finish:)
